Top of the World

Outside of Moab is a bike trail that climbs relentlessly up Waring Mesa to this stunning view of Fisher Valley 7,000 feet below, and the La Sal Mountains off in the distance.

Desert Bloom

The Poison Spider Mt Bike trail is very unforgiving yet incredibly beautiful. A delicate desert bloom, tentatively roots itself in soil of wind buffed sand.

The memory still makes me smile.

Dirt

The San Rafael Swell is raw and gritty. The dust penetrates everything, my camera gear and brain included.

Teton Pass

Been spending alittle time back in my old home of Jackson lately- It's been almost 11 years since I've been back. Unreal how incredible it is here, I had forgotten how special it truly is.

The shot is a late sunset bloom from a Wilson cabin I was staying at. No saturation of the colors... all nature.

Selkirk Mountains

A fantastic trip, still decompressing from being deep in the mountains without civilized contact for a week. A strange sensation after becoming so hardwired for information and contact via smart phones and the internet. Lots more images to comb through. Got my work cut out for me on pairing this edit down.

Fairy Meadows Hut

I am off to the Selkirk mountains in British Columbia and the Fairy Meadow Hut. We'll be heli dropped off for 10 days of self supported backcountry splitboarding/skiing. It looks pretty spectacular, with a quaint hut with no electricity or running water.

Another close call

Jumped into a 45 degree chute in the backcountry this weekend. The new snow covered up a rock I tagged at the entrance... toma hawked down into a dead tree. Hit so hard it knocked off my glove. Coulda been much worse... loving the souvenir. Jebuz.
